Graduated in New Technologies of Art at Brera Fine Art Academy in Milan, Kiana is an Artist/Director who started her career as a freelance documentary director and visual artist in collaboration with experimental/electronic musicians in Milan and Tehran. As a documentarist, her works are primarily concerned with social injustice issues by collaborating with NGOs, independent media and human rights organizations. Besides her solo activities, Kiana focuses on a collective way of working as well. Her last projects were collaborations with southern Italian high schools, immigrants women and workers to hear and help them to tell their stories.
