Russell is an actor, dubbing director, voice artist, script editor and Farsi proofreader with over 40 years of experience. After completing several drama courses, he began his acting career in Iran that resulted in his participation in 6 feature films. Following his immigration, he spent 15 years in Denmark and in 1998 moved to London, where he has taken part in various drama courses and obtained a higher English language degree.
Russell has been engaged in various theatrical projects, feature films, TV series, and radio dramas, most of which have been directed by distinguished directors. Russell joined the BBC Persian Television in April 2009 as a freelance voice artist, dubbing director, and script editor and collaborated with other Persian TV channels as a narrator and dubbing director simultaneously.
